Symposium Celebrating Dr. Walter Willett

On Monday, May 2, 2016, a symposium was held to honor Dr. Walter Willett for his 25 years as chair of the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and to recognize his many contributions to our knowledge about nutrition and public health. Keynote speakers included Dr. Antonia Trichopoulou, Dr. Mauricio Hernandez-Avila, Mr. Greg Drescher, Dr. Marji McCullough, and Dr. Sue Hankinson.

The symposium featured a keynote address by Dr. Jonathan Samet and talks by several NHS investigators who spoke about the legacy of the NHS and Dr. Speizer’s key role in nurturing many research careers.
